Payment Options
The preferred method of payment
North Yorkshire Mortgages would prefer all their customers to make mortgage payments by Direct Debit, on the pre-agreed payment date, as this is the contractual method of payment which is detailed in the mortgage terms and conditions. However, we do understand that there is a need for flexibility and that a 'set' payment date isn't always convenient.
Pay by our website
You can do this by clicking on “Your account” once you have registered you will be able to make card payments.
Please note payments are non refundable if they are made online. If you have any questions please contact us on 0345 130 4145.
Paying by Debit Card
You can make payments towards your mortgage, any arrears balance or any fees incurred simply by calling our Credit Management Department and using your Debit Card. A card payment takes only seconds to process and your mortgage account will be updated immediately.
Paying directly into our Bank account
You can arrange to make an 'over the counter' payment or a bank transfer, directly into our HSBC bank account, by contacting our Credit Management Team or Customer Contact Centre and asking for our account number and sort code. This type of payment can usually be credited to your mortgage account within 48 hours of the money being paid or transferred.
Please note: To assist us in processing and allocating monies, when you make a payment or transfer into our Bank account, always use your mortgage account number as a reference.
Paying by Cheque
You can send a cheque or bankers draft, addressed to North Yorkshire Mortgages, to our Cheque processing team at the following address:
Gateway House, Gargrave Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1UD
Please ensure that your name and mortgage account number are clearly printed on the back of the cheque.
Other Options
If you find that none of the aforementioned payment methods are convenient, please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0345 130 4145 to discuss whether any other options can be considered.
